Classical guitar Double Top
2024 year built
This guitar was finished in September 2024.
This guitar has an elegant shape and a relatively small body size, similar to Antonio de Torres guitars.
At the same time, it is a double-top - its soundboard is a sandwich with an inner layer of European spruce and an outer layer of cedar. The core is made of balsa.
Despite its small size, the instrument has a fairly low fundamental resonance frequency - 89 Hz, or in other words, between F and F#. This was achieved by manipulating the construction parameters of both the soundboard and the resonator as a whole.
In addition, the ultra-thin neck makes playing this guitar extremely easy. This was made possible by double reinforcement with carbon rods.
Due to accidental damage to the outer layer of the soundboard in the neck area , the guitar was repaired (you can see a patch in the photo) and is sold at a reduced price. This factor only affected the appearance of the instrument while its sound and playability are not affected. The guitar has excellent responsiveness, good projection, deep velvety bass and singing trebles.
